Kiwanis Ice Arena presents "Food Truck Festival": In 2019, the Saugerties Truck Festivals will happen from 5 to 10 p.m. in the Kiwanis Ice Arena Parking Lot on the following Thursdays: August 15 and September 19.  All funds raised will be going to rebuild Small World Playground, so we hope you will support us and our local food trucks.  Any vendors interested in being a part of the festivals should download a copy of the PDF, fill it out and mail it to Marjorie Block in advance of the day of the event you are interested in.

Villa Veritas Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation presents "Walk the Walk for Recovery": September is National Recovery Month.  As we host the "Walk the Walk for Recovery", Villa Veritas Foundation Inc hopes to increase awareness and understanding of alcoholism & drug addiction.  We walk to reduce the social stigma associated with substance abuse.  The goal of Recovery Month is to spread and promote the message that "treatment works, treatment is effective and people can and do recover.  Participation is FREE, but a $25 donation includes bacelet and t-shirt.

Alzheimer's Association presents "Dutchess/Ulster Walk to End Alzheimer's": Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. The Dutchess/Ulster Walk to End Alzheimer's will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, starting on the Highland side of the Walkway Over the Hudson. Once on board, your car hosts will work their way through the coach and punch your golden ticket as you’re served hot chocolate and delicious cookies from a local bakery.
